Sr. Technical Profession - Mechanical

As a Senior Technical Professional specializing in Modular Projects, you will be responsible for preparing Technical Requisitions, reviewing Project Design Basis, and Basic Design of Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers. You will also be involved in evaluating Datasheets of Rotary Equipment, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Civil Disciplines. Your role will require close collaboration with other Mechanical Disciplines such as Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Civil. Additionally, you will participate in Technical Bid Evaluations, 3D Model & Iso-metric Reviews, as well as Hazop studies. To excel in this position, you must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering with 12-15 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs, datasheets of static and rotary equipment, Piping Material Specifications, line Lists, isolation and vent/drain philosophies, Tie-Ins, and interface engineering with other disciplines is essential. Experience in utilizing intelligent CAD systems such as PDMS, E3D, and SP3D, along with AutoCAD & MicroStation, is required. Your responsibilities will also include conducting 3D Model reviews, addressing Punch Lists, and providing technical justifications to queries. Furthermore, you should possess the ability to engage in various Engineering and Project functions, attend pertinent meetings, establish change management processes, and offer guidance during procurement and execution activities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in English, are crucial for this role. The willingness to travel, as per project requirements (within India and abroad), including client meetings and site visits, is expected. Travel commitments could constitute up to 30% of your work time. In this role, you will collaborate closely with different Technology Leads across various KBR Offices to ensure successful project outcomes.,
