Sr. Tax Associate

As a Tax Senior at Unison Globus, a distinguished international firm providing specialized services to Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and Enrolled Agents (EAs), your primary responsibility will be preparing tax returns and projections for high net worth individuals, trusts, fiduciaries, and gift tax returns. Additionally, you will assist with Tax Audits and review tax returns prepared by the assigned Tax staff, making necessary recommendations for accuracy, efficiency, and tax savings opportunities. You will also function as a lead contributor on various tax projects, oversee and train tax associates and interns, and communicate effectively with CPA client firms to build strong relationships. To be successful in this role, you should be a CPA/EA and/or CA preferred with at least 3 years of public tax accounting experience, preferably in a mid-size firm. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws across corporate, individual, trust, gifts, and partnership taxation. You must be responsive to clients, possess excellent client service skills, approach projects with a sense of urgency, and demonstrate high motivation, outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and working knowledge of various tax software and research tools are advantageous.
