Sr. Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer specializing in water and wastewater facilities, your primary responsibility will be to carry out structural design for various components such as skids, modules, pipe supports, and pipe racks. You will be tasked with preparing drawings, organizing design reviews, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, local standards, and codes. Your expertise in designing structures according to local rules and regulations will be crucial in producing drawings for permits and construction purposes. In this role, you will be expected to analyze structural designs, recommend modifications as needed, and conduct load, pressure, stress calculations, lifting analysis, and other forms of structural analysis. Your ability to provide technical advice on construction materials and installation methods will be essential, as well as your proficiency in preparing structural calculations and details of structural elements. Additionally, you will be responsible for submitting designs to relevant authorities, ensuring thorough follow-up for approval, and collaborating with consultants, architects, contractors, and suppliers to address project issues. You will also play a key role in guiding designers in the preparation of structural drawings, coordinating requirements with other disciplines, and working closely with the Technical Project Manager and other team members to deliver successful projects. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and possess at least 10 years of experience in water and wastewater facilities or a related industrial field. Proficiency in steel structures, knowledge of relevant codes and standards, and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Familiarity with software tools such as Staad Pro, AutoCAD, Tekla, and others will be advantageous in fulfilling the requirements of this position.,
