As a Structural Engineer specializing in water and wastewater facilities, your primary responsibility will be to carry out structural design for various components such as skids, modules, pipe supports, and pipe racks. You will be tasked with preparing drawings, organizing design reviews, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, local standards, and codes. Your expertise in designing structures according to local rules and regulations will be crucial in producing drawings for permits and construction purposes. In this role, you will be expected to analyze structural designs, recommend modifications as needed, and conduct load, pressure, stress calculations, lifting analysis, and other forms of structural analysis. Your ability to provide technical advice on construction materials and installation methods will be essential, as well as your proficiency in preparing structural calculations and details of structural elements. Additionally, you will be responsible for submitting designs to relevant authorities, ensuring thorough follow-up for approval, and collaborating with consultants, architects, contractors, and suppliers to address project issues. You will also play a key role in guiding designers in the preparation of structural drawings, coordinating requirements with other disciplines, and working closely with the Technical Project Manager and other team members to deliver successful projects. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and possess at least 10 years of experience in water and wastewater facilities or a related industrial field. Proficiency in steel structures, knowledge of relevant codes and standards, and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Familiarity with software tools such as Staad Pro, AutoCAD, Tekla, and others will be advantageous in fulfilling the requirements of this position.,

The survey and design engineer will be responsible for conducting surveys and gathering data from land development and construction projects, Designing and setting up survey systems. Visiting the site and taking measurement: 1. Conduct site surveys using digital and tap measurements. 2. Prepare and maintain accurate records of survey data, including maps and reports. 3. Ready to take measurements using scaffolding 4. Work closely with client team and project teams to ensure the project specification are met and any potential issues are addressed promptly. Developing detailed drawing evaluation study: 1. Developing detailed design drawing using computer-aided design (CAD) software. 2. Collaborating with and engineering teams to integrate the design and enhance product specifications. 3. Analyze data obtained from surveys and prepare reports for clients. 4. Documenting design process and creating reports for project customers. Client coordination and Sales coordination: 1. Liaising with clients to understand the essential requirements and constraints of the design brief. 2. Provide technical support during the design and planning phases of construction projects. 3. Interact with both sales staff and clients, providing updates on project progress and discussing any adjustments needed based on survey findings.
