Sr. Structural Engineer

The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university. You should have a solid educational background to support your work in this field. In terms of software proficiency, you should be well-versed in using ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, and Revit. These tools will be essential for your day-to-day tasks related to structural design and analysis. The work location for this position is in Saudi Arabia, specifically in Riyadh. Therefore, you should be willing to work in this location and manage your responsibilities accordingly. With regards to experience, you should have a minimum of 3-15 years of experience in structural design, analysis, and project management, focusing on building and infrastructure projects. Experience in handling projects involving concrete and steel structures, including detailing and construction, will be highly beneficial for this role. Knowledge of relevant Indian codes and standards, such as IS codes, is also crucial. Previous work experience from Gulf Countries is preferable. Your technical skills should include proficiency in structural analysis software like ETABS, SAFE, and STAAD Pro. Familiarity with BIM software like Revit and experience with Rebar detailing and BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) will be an added advantage. You should also have knowledge of structural steel design, arrangements, and material standards. Experience in preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports is essential. In terms of soft skills, you should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as you will be required to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines. Good project management and coordination skills are also important, along with the ability to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
