Job Description

You will be responsible for the following in this role: - Analyzing functional requirements and design specifications & creating test plans and test cases, executing & validating the test results - Automating test cases, debugging and fixing automation issues - Creating a robust acceptance & regression testing repository - Discovering, debugging, documenting, and verifying software anomalies - Documenting test artifacts; evaluating testing results and tracking them using internal tools/processes - Communicating critical issues and status updates in a timely manner - Addressing queries from Product Management, Software Development Group, and Client Servicing teams w.r.t our software products in a timely manner - Identifying QA and testing issues, and generating solutions for process improvement - Contributing to the training of new hires & ramping them up to speed - Working collaboratively with a global team Qualifications required for this position include: - Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics - Minimum 4 - 6 years of experience working in an Agile software development team - Knowledge of C#, C++, Java or any other object-oriented programming language - Knowledge & hands-on experience of data management tools including but not limited to SQL/R/Python and Excel - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail - Experience in working with global teams Desirable qualifications may include knowledge of insurance/reinsurance and experience in working with large datasets.
