About The Role

The Senior Specialist, Product Strategy and Operations at Mastercard will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of the Ethoca Consumer Clarity product. This position is responsible for managing the tactical aspects of product development, working closely with cross-functional teams including development, operations, marketing, and customer support. The candidate will oversee the end-to-end delivery of product features, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer needs. Responsibilities include coordinating requirements from various stakeholders, maintaining product backlogs, and supporting go-to-market initiatives. The role requires a strong focus on process management, quality assurance, and data-driven decision-making to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelors or masters degree in Product Management, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, along with proven experience in product discovery, development, and commercialization. Experience working with external vendors or delivery partners is essential, with a demonstrated ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations effectively. Knowledge of the payments industry, ecommerce, dispute resolution, or fraud management is a plus. Technical proficiency in SQL, Python, and Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Domo is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and excellent communication skills are required to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. The candidate should be adaptable, eager to learn new technologies, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of core product workstreams, engaging with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Own documentation, quality assurance processes, and regular progress tracking to provide visibility into project status, blockers, and key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Lead status review meetings, coordinate activities across different time zones, and facilitate go-to-market strategies in collaboration with operations, engineering, and market teams.
  • Collaborate with product management, development teams, customers, and other stakeholders to gather, validate, and prioritize requirements.
  • Maintain and refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and agile best practices.
  • Execute the product roadmap within Agile frameworks, managing iterations, planning sprints, and delivering incremental value.
  • Work closely with operations and data teams to ensure successful product releases, monitor performance, and implement improvements.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials, user guides, and documentation to promote product adoption and user engagement.
  • Support data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to facilitate business intelligence and analytics, with the ability to create and maintain data dashboards as an advantage.
