Sr. Software Quality Engineer

You will be joining Tag-N-Trac, a company based in Hyderabad, India, that specializes in providing a full stack IoT traceability solution using custom smart labels and ultra-low power devices. The company is dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to facilitate end-to-end supply chain digitization. Tag-N-Trac is at the forefront of revolutionizing supply chain, warehouse, and inventory management solutions by offering real-time visibility into assets and shipments. As a valued member of the team, you will collaborate closely with the Product team to design and maintain advanced technologies that drive our core platform, customer-facing APIs, and real-time events processing customized for the supply chain industry's unique challenges. You will be tasked with addressing complex technical obstacles, leveraging data from our fleet of IoT devices and sensors to provide real-time visibility. At Tag-N-Trac, we cultivate a data-centric mindset, where innovative ideas are embraced and evaluated regardless of their origin. **Responsibilities:** - Develop well-structured and detailed test plans and create test cases. - Work closely with the agile sprint team to develop test cases (including integration and unit test cases) and automate their execution in parallel with feature development. - Assist in demo preparation, integration, and release readiness. - Implement test automation frameworks for on-demand execution as well as nightly runs. - Establish code coverage measurements. - Design Acceptance, Functional, Regression, Integration, and Performance Test cases. **Requirements:** - Proficiency in developing test cases for backend systems (platform, REST APIs) and testing web-based/mobile applications. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes. - Experience with web automation frameworks like Selenium or Playwright. - Strong working knowledge of Core Java and JavaScript. - Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming techniques. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Over 5 years of experience in developing and automating test cases/frameworks for SaaS-based products. **Nice To Haves:** - Expertise in the Supply Chain domain. - Knowledge of Cloud technologies. - Experience working with embedded devices is a plus. - Familiarity with testing wireless and networking products (Bluetooth, WiFi, Cellular, IoT devices preferred).
