Sr. Software Engineer - Web Platform

As a Sr. Software Engineer - Web Platform in the Digital Business team in Bengaluru, your role involves leading the development and maintenance of internal backend tools and dashboards. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, user-friendly interfaces to support the engineering and operations teams. Your key responsibilities include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable React/Next.js-based applications for internal tools and consumer-facing products. - Ensuring pixel-perfect, cross-browser compatible, and responsive UIs for web and mobile web. - Leading the architecture, development, and optimization of robust web platforms for OTT and media domains. - Integrating and maintaining logging/monitoring systems like Sentry, Datadog, New Relic, and LogRocket for proactive error tracking and performance monitoring. - Utilizing AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Tabnine, or AI-based code review/testing assistants to accelerate development. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features on time. - Driving efforts for technical SEO, improved Core Web Vitals, and performance optimization. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in web technologies including React, Next.js, Node.js, and API Gateways. - Strong understanding of Redux, React Query, context APIs, and performance tuning techniques. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with monitoring tools such as Sentry, Datadog, New Relic, LogRocket, and Grafana. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies, API security, and performance profiling.
