Sr. Software Engineer - Power BI

Role Overview: You have 4 to 6 years of experience in Power BI+ SQL and will be responsible for hands-on experience with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration, and advanced visual development in Power BI. Additionally, you will be involved in performance tuning of BI reports, writing complex DAX queries, and utilizing SQL Server/PL SQL database skills. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience with scripting, data source integration, and advanced visual development in Power BI - Good understanding of Tableau, Thoughtspot, Cognos, Bobj - Knowledge in Role-Based access (good to have) - Performance tuning of BI reports - Excellent skill in writing Complex DAX Queries - Strong knowledge of SQL Server/PL SQL Database Skills - Deep understanding of relational database design, multidimensional database design, OLTP, OLAP, KPIs, Scorecards, and Dashboards - Good understanding of Data Modelling Techniques for Analytical Data - Excellent Business User communication skill Qualifications Required: - Specialized knowledge of requirement management processes & tools, analysis process, tools & methodologies - Able to extract functional & non-functional requirements & document a system/software requirements specification in complex scenarios - Working knowledge of design principles & performance engineering concepts - Able to decide on document templates, standards & best practices, on tools & frameworks to be used - Working knowledge of architecture Industry tools & frameworks - Working knowledge of estimation & resource planning techniques - Specialized knowledge of product/platform & associated technologies - Working knowledge of customer business domain technology suite in client's context - Working knowledge of customer business domain, technology suite in client's context - Specialized knowledge of customer's business processes, relevant technology platform or product At YASH, you are encouraged to build a career in an inclusive team environment with career-oriented skilling models and continuous learning opportunities.
