Job Summary: We are seekinga highly skilled and experienced Senior Hands-on OpenText Engineer to join ourdynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a deep, hands-onunderstanding of the OpenText Content Server / xECM platform and its ecosystem.This role requires a blend of technical expertise, architectural insight, andstrong communication skills to support large-scale enterprise implementations.You will be a key player in a global, agile team, working closely with bothonsite and offshore colleagues to design, develop, and maintain our criticalOpenText solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Server / xECM Architecture & Administration:

o Serve as a Subject MatterExpert (SME) for Content Server / xECM.

o Architect, deploy, andadminister complex OpenText Content Server / xECM environments for large-scaleenterprise use.

o Perform system configuration,maintenance, and performance tuning to ensure stability and optimal operation.

o Manage upgrades, patches, andhotfixes for the OpenText platform.

Solution Development & Integration:

o Design and develop robustContent Server solutions using WebReports , Workflows , and customscripts to meet business requirements for automation and efficiency.

o Create and optimize intricateContent Server workflows for various business processes.

o Perform database-levelintegrations, including designing and writing SQL queries, functions, andmanaging data exchange with external systems.

o Integrate Content Server / xECMwith leading enterprise applications using xECM widgets for a seamlessuser experience.

Data & System Expertise:

o Possess a deep understanding ofthe Content Server database schema to inform solution design and development.

o Be proficient in PostgreSQL for query development, performance analysis, and data management.

o Work with the business team toperform CIS modeling and business analysis, defining and implementingstandard file plans and metadata usage.

Agile Team Collaboration (Onsite-Offshore Model):

o Collaborate effectively with ageographically distributed team (on-site and offshore).

o Participate in agileceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

o Clearly articulate technicaldesigns and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

o Provide technical guidance andmentorship to junior engineers in the team.

o Ensure smooth handover of workand knowledge transfer between teams across different time zones.

Required Skills and Experience:

Solid experience as a Content Server / xECM Architect &System Administrator for enterprise-level implementations.

Proven expertise in WebReports Design & Development forcomplex automation and reporting solutions.

Strong background in Workflow Design & Implementation within OpenText Content Server.

Deep understanding of the Content Server Data Model anddatabase schema.

Proficiency in PostgreSQL Development , including writingadvanced SQL queries and functions.

Hands-on experience with Database-Level Integrations for dataexchange with external systems.

Familiarity with xECM Widget Application Integration .

Strong CIS Modeling & Business Analysis skills, with theability to define file plans and metadata based on business needs.

Working knowledge of Linux systems , specifically Red HatEnterprise Linux (RHEL) , as it pertains to Content Server deployments.

Familiarity with key AWS Cloud Services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS)in the context of OpenText deployments.

Preferred Qualifications:

OpenText certifications (e.g., OpenText Certified Professional).

Experience with other OpenText products (e.g., Brava!, Blazon,Archive Center).

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) forautomation.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for OpenText deployments.
