Sr. Software Engineer - .NET

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Microsoft Department, you will play a crucial role in modernizing applications and delivering innovative solutions for customers by utilizing the latest technologies. You will work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, contributing to all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from solution design to production support. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop secured financial applications and web-based solutions through all stages of the SDLC. - Lead requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance phases of software product development. - Assist in migrating old technologies to newer ones and recommend the best solutions. - Collaborate with onsite and offshore development teams for technical solutions. - Resolve issues promptly and handle unexpected development requests. - Publish applications to QA, DR, and production environments. - Monitor the performance of existing web applications and implement improvements. - Continuously enhance your skillset by exploring new technologies and methodologies. - Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a results-driven mindset. - Collaborate with other departments for technology and product-related discussions. - Work on integrating with secured third-party applications. **Qualifications & Skills:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. - 6+ years of experience in web development using Microsoft technologies. - Hands-on experience in .Net standard, .Net core frameworks, C#, MVC, Web API, aspx Web forms, and REST API. - Proficiency in Microsoft SQL server databases, including ADO.net, Entity Framework, Dapper, and writing efficient SQL queries. - Experience in traditional aspx webforms and front-end applications using Angular, jQuery, CSS, Bootstrap, and HTML. - Full-stack development experience with C# for front-end and back-end. - Familiarity with source controls like GIT and Azure Devops. - Knowledge of encryption techniques for creating secure web applications. - Understanding of design patterns, object-oriented programming, and OWASP vulnerabilities. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems effectively. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing requirements. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Availability to work until at least 1PM EST to collaborate with onsite team members. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with BI and analytical reporting technologies. - Proficiency in writing Unit Tests using frameworks. - Skills in designing Adaptive/Responsive and modern applications.,
