Sr Software Engineer I, Tech Lead

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer at Zinnia, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining Zinnia software platforms. You will collaborate with stakeholders to create solutions and products that meet the requirements of both internal stakeholders and clients, ultimately enhancing efficiency and service quality. Additionally, you will serve as a mentor to junior team members, providing guidance on soft skills and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively within a global, cross-functional team to develop innovative software solutions for Zinnia's stakeholders. - Contribute to projects by writing well-designed, customizable, and efficient code for Life & Annuity Exchange platforms. - Provide support, troubleshooting, enhancements, and customizations for existing Life & Annuity Exchange platforms. - Collaborate with global teams, internal stakeholders, and customers to ensure project success. - Mentor team members, conduct technical reviews, and share technology expertise. - Architect, design, develop, and validate requirements for Zinnia platforms. - Demonstrate flexibility in meeting development and delivery needs, adapting to changing business requirements, and prioritizing tasks effectively. - Work both independently and collaboratively with team members and business units, exhibiting self-motivation and enthusiasm for diverse projects. Qualifications Required: - 10-14 years of experience in Microsoft .NET technologies with expertise in end-to-end project lifecycle management using Agile methodologies. - Proficiency in C#/.Net, ASP.Net, MVC, Dot Net Core, Web API, Micro Services, Visual Studio IDE, SSRS, SOAP, XML, and GitHub. - Knowledge of advanced design patterns, API-first design, and SOLID principles. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. - Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional, global team. - Experience in client communication, issue management, deployment, and support. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS. - Skills in team coordination, analytical thinking, self-learning, communication, technical documentation, and system analysis. Good to Have: - Experience working on enterprise-level applications/products. - Proficiency in React, TypeScript. - Knowledge of the insurance/financial services (Life and Annuity) industry. - Familiarity with Web-based software as a service (SaaS) applications.,
