We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant to lead the implementation of the Finance and Control (FICO) module for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and deploying the FICO module to support our financial accounting and management accounting processes.
* Customize and develop SAP FICO solutions, including user exits, ABAP programs, and enhancements, to address gaps between standard SAP functionality and specific business needs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance teams, auditors, technical consultants, and other functional consultants, to ensure seamless integration and data flow across modules.* Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure correct configuration and functionality of the SAP FICO module.* Develop and execute training plans to train end-users on the configured SAP FICO processes and functionalities.* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, industry regulations, and internal control requirements.* Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and maintenance as needed.* Document configurations, customizations, and best practices for future reference and knowledge transfer.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing and configuring the SAP FICO module, with a strong emphasis on financial accounting and management accounting processes.- Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and management accounting concepts.- Strong functional knowledge of SAP FICO and its integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, CO).- Experience in customizing and developing SAP FICO solutions using ABAP programming and enhancements.- Familiarity with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), industry regulations, and internal control frameworks.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in implementing SAP FICO in the manufacturing or high-tech industry.
- Knowledge of advanced financial reporting and consolidation processes.- Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.- Familiarity with tax and compliance requirements in multiple jurisdictions (for multinational organizations).- Certification in SAP FICO (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting) is preferred.
