Job Description

You will be responsible for improving market coverage in the region by generating pipeline from prospect visits and ensuring order intake in terms of both number of units and value to increase market share. You will forecast month-on-month order intakes and report on any lost orders. Your main focus will be on developing and maintaining customer contacts by providing quick responses to customer queries, coordinating with internal colleagues to meet customer needs, and tracking competitors' approaches and market information. Some of the key deliverables and attributes include conducting requirement studies to recommend optimum machines to customers, tracking enquiries from users to purchasers, providing timely updates to customers on pending orders, maintaining continuous contact with customers even after equipment supply or ongoing enquiries, and updating customer master data. In terms of sales planning, you will be responsible for accurately entering data into the company's CRM or other sales management tools, forecasting sales targets, and ensuring they are met. Qualifications required for this role include a BE in Mechanical or an MBA. Specialized knowledge in geography, market segments, industry, and product applications is essential. Skills required for this role include customer handling and presentation abilities. You should also possess abilities in manpower handling and motivation, forecasting, and have the capability to handle the territory independently. Other characteristics such as being self-driven, methodical, analytical, and a go-getter are also important. Additionally, having professional certifications in computer applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint would be beneficial for this role.
