Sr Quality Engineer I

Function Overview The Sr Quality Engineer I plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products and services. This role is part of the Technology Quality Function, which focuses on strategy, planning, standards, process, policy, tools, engineering, assurance, metrics, automation, and testing across all technology functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform UI and API testing using tools like Selenium, Postman, and REST clients
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define quality standards and acceptance criteria
• Identify, document, and track defects ensure timely resolution
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools
• Ensure compliance with software QA methodologies and best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint deliverables
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Skills:
  • Solid experience in UI,API and DB testing using Automated scripts
  • Experience with Selenium or similar automation frameworks
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Java/Python, JSON, REST, and Postman
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Familiarity with Agile development and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proven excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Having Good knowledge on Github Tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in software quality engineering
• Experience with bug tracking and version control systems
• Exposure to Automation Tools like Selenium
• Programming knowledge on Java/Python/C#
• Having knowledge on Natural language tools like Accelq
• Knowledge of AI tool usage in Quality engineering space
