As an IT Quality Manager, you will provide full leadership and supervisory responsibility to your team(s). Your role involves offering operational and service leadership, applying your in-depth disciplinary knowledge to provide value-added perspectives, and contributing to the development of new techniques within your expertise. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are essential for this role. You will have overall responsibility for the volume, quality, and timeliness of end results, as well as shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Your work will impact an entire area, ultimately affecting the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Your supervisory responsibilities will include motivating and developing your team through professional leadership, encompassing tasks such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and daily task direction. **Responsibilities:** - Overall testing experience of 9 to 14 years - Mandatory expertise in BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) - Strong coding skills in Gluecode (Java) - Mandatory proficiency in SQL and Unix - Intermediate to expert level knowledge of FIX protocol - Preference for testing in an agile environment - Highly preferred experience in Front Office and Middle Office - Proficiency in Front end, Back end, and Database testing - Familiarity with testing processes in Agile and Waterfall SDLC - Excellent understanding of Software Quality Assurance methodologies, processes, best practices, and current application development technology - Expertise in test cycles, test tools, and testing methodologies - Proficient in requirement analysis and test scenario derivation - Experience in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) - Experience in investment banking testing - Ability to work independently - Strong communication skills - Experience using Jira - Positive attitude and aptitude **Qualifications:** - 9-13 years of experience in an IT Quality role with relevant people management experience - Demonstrated organizational and time management skills - Track record of quality improvements and metrics gathering - Effective communication and diplomacy skills with the ability to persuade and influence **Education:** - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity, you can review Accessibility at Citi.
