Sr. QA Engineer

The Sr. QA Engineer will be responsible for understanding product requirements and designing test plans/test cases. You will collaborate with developers to discuss story design, test cases, and code walkthroughs. Additionally, you will design an automation strategy for regression test cases and execute tests while collaborating with developers to address any issues that may arise. You will also review unit test coverage, enhance existing unit test coverage, automate integration/end-to-end tests using Junit, Mockito, Selenium, and Cypress. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in web application testing/test automation with good analytical skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, along with exposure to test design techniques and Agile Development methodology such as Scrums. Basic Java programming exposure is necessary to read and understand code, review and understand unit test cases, and suggest additional coverage points at the unit level. Experience with multi-tier web application deployment/architecture (SpringBoot), SQL query language, Configuration management tools like GitHub, Defect Management processes, Web Service/API testing, and Cucumber for use case driven test automation is preferred.,
