Sr. QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer in our software quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile apps and SaaS platform. Your main responsibility will be to deliver work that meets our customers" standards by collaborating with your team members. Reporting to the Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will have the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary team that values continuous improvement and uses modern software and product development techniques. Your tasks will include maintaining up-to-date knowledge and documentation of tests, collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuous testing and maintenance of the platform and data, and learning new skills for automation testing to uphold product quality. You will have the freedom to work independently, exploring the application to identify coverage gaps without predefined acceptance criteria or test cases. Deepening your understanding of product functionality, you will be encouraged to think creatively and problem-solve while communicating effectively with your team and the community. To excel in this role, you should hold a BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science or possess equivalent experience. Candidates with a background in automation frameworks and coding, particularly in Java with Playwright and/or Selenium, are highly desirable. A results-oriented individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk identification will thrive in this position. Experience with Android and IOS devices, as well as tools like BrowserStack and Lambdatest, is beneficial. Additionally, having expertise in SQL syntax, the ability to write SQL queries, and experience with both manual and automation testing are essential. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, will be crucial in collaborating with your team and sharing best practices within the QA Guild. Experience in supporting production incidents, validating releases, and working with tools like Jenkins and GitHub for CI/CD pipelines will be valuable assets.
