Sr Program Officer - Health and Medical

Role Overview: You will be the Senior Program Officer for Health and Medical at Operation Blessing India. Your role involves providing leadership to the project, establishing relationships with relevant organizations and stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth implementation of program activities while upholding high standards of integrity. Your responsibilities will include community mobilization, assessment, planning, implementation, reporting, networking, and resource mobilization. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor the implementation of program activities closely - Ensure optimal and timely utilization of resources - Maintain high standards of integrity - Lead community mobilization efforts - Conduct assessments and planning - Implement health programs at the community level - Collaborate with stakeholders and relevant organizations - Report on program progress - Network with key partners - Tap into resources effectively Qualifications Required: - Masters degree in social science with experience in public health or community health - Minimum of 5 years experience in health program management, including clinic management, community mobilization, preventive health education, and disease surveillance - Knowledge of epidemiology and biostatistics concepts - Understanding of health information systems - Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access - Familiarity with cross-cultural environments and customs - Strong decision-making and analytical skills - Ability to take initiative, innovate, work independently, and collaborate with team members - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - Willingness to travel locally up to 50% of the year,
