Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager at Ericsson Enterprise Solutions in India, your role is critical in driving the development and launch of cost-effective hardware endpoints tailored for emerging markets. You will collaborate with Segment Product Managers to align hardware development with target use cases and work with local teams in India for design, manufacturing, and go-to-market strategies. Your focus will be on building a winning product line strategy for emerging markets, delivering essential features at competitive price points. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct in-depth market research to understand the unique requirements, competitive landscape, and pricing dynamics of emerging markets. - Define and lead the product strategy for international hardware, aligning with Ericsson's overall vision and segment-specific needs. - Identify and prioritize cost-effective hardware solutions that address key use cases in emerging markets. - Collaborate with local engineering and manufacturing teams in India to design and develop hardware endpoints meeting cost and performance targets. - Work with Segment Product Managers to ensure hardware aligns with target use cases across various segments. - Define product requirements, specifications, and roadmaps for international hardware. - Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality. - Drive cost optimization initiatives throughout the hardware development process. - Develop competitive pricing strategies aligning with market realities and profitability goals. - Collaborate with marketing, sales, and channel partners for go-to-market strategies. - Provide product training and support to sales and channel partners. - Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, data science, marketing, and sales. - Monitor development progress and address any blockers effectively. **Qualifications:** - 10+ years of product management experience with a focus on hardware development. - 5+ years of experience in wireless networking solutions and edge devices. - Proven track record of launching hardware products in emerging markets successfully. - Strong understanding of cost optimization and pricing strategies. - Experience working with local manufacturing and engineering teams in India. - Deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges of emerging markets. - Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. In this role, you will be based in India and may be required to travel up to 25%.
