The IZOT product line includes BMC's Intelligent Z Optimization & Transformation products, which assist the world's largest companies in monitoring and managing their mainframe systems. With continuous growth and innovation, we aim to perfect our solutions on an ongoing basis. BMC is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our IZOT team of highly skilled software developers. In this role, you will design and develop new features, as well as maintain existing features, focusing on backend development of an industry-leading SaaS product. You will play a vital role in project design to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance are met, troubleshoot complex technical problems, implement methodologies, processes & tools, work in agile within a Scrum team, and collaborate with other teams to develop joint features. To excel in this role, you should have 7+ years of experience in Java backend development, proficiency in SpringBoot, Docker, Kubernetes, experience in a multi-threaded environment, familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, PGSQL, MSSQL), be a self-learner passionate about problem-solving and technology, and possess good communication skills in English. While not mandatory, experience with Microservices architecture, Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), Python, Node.js, C/C++, and Automation Frameworks such as Robot Framework are considered beneficial.
