Description
Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years in designing B2B products, preferably in 3D design or engineering, photogrammetry/photo editing space. You would be part of: Conducting qualitative and quantitative user research, interviews, usability testing to make informed recommendations for experiences. Design simple flows and elegant experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes Leading development and adoption of UI/UX design processes at AUS. Partner with strategic product management teams and highly technical development teams to support product launches. We expect you to: Understand target users deeply. You ll need to develop or work from user profiles and conduct task analysis, create user scenarios or use stories. Be a champion for user testing by partnering with researchers to get your solutions in front of customers; and be willing to conduct scrappy, around-the-office user testing on your own if required. Have a portfolio showcasing user-centered designs that are beautiful, delightful, and easy-to-use Understand that everyone experiences the world differently, and you are driven to understand the needs of your users. Aware of, but not beholden to, new and current design patterns. Have ability to balance different use-cases and prioritize accordingly. Make visuals that are clear, creative, and inspiring. You are awesome if you are: Experienced in a variety of design and prototype tools such as Sketch, Invisionapp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Figma Experienced in working collaboratively with front-end engineers Familiar with basics of HTML and CSS Familiar with design systems such as Material Design, Fluent, Human Interface Guidelines Familiar with GIS data formats and interfaces Familiar with designing data processing-oriented user experiences Desired Skills: User Research and Personas, Prototyping, User Validation, Branding, Typography, Color Theory, Interaction Design Principles, User Empathy, Style Guides, Sketch, Figma, Material Design
