Sr. Partner Onboarding Manager

Role Overview: As a Senior Partner Onboarding Manager at Avalara, your primary responsibility will be integrating signed Partners into Avalara's Partner Ecosystem. You will guide partners through the onboarding process to ensure they achieve partner certification, gain access to Avalara's Partner Portal, complete training, and develop a comprehensive sales and marketing plan. Your efforts will empower partners to quickly gain traction and maximize their partnership with Avalara. Reporting to the Manager, Partner Solutions, you will function as an individual contributor. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure partner certification completion and successful integration into Avalara's systems and Partner Program. - Facilitate partners" access to Avalara's Partner Portal and provide guidance on utilizing its resources effectively. - Collaborate with partners and company partners to create a detailed sales and marketing plan to support their launch. - Communicate with partners regarding any outstanding certification requirements and support them in addressing these tasks. - Utilize your experience with Avalara's APIs to address technical queries from Partners building a certified integration. - Work closely with other teams such as Sales, Product, and Marketing to equip partners with the necessary resources for success. - Report on key metrics, including the number of completed launch projects for signed partners. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in customer success, account management, project management, or partner onboarding roles. - Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple onboarding processes concurrently. - Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), project management tools, and data tracking systems. - Experience in SaaS is preferred.
