written in languages like Go, C#, and Python/PERL.This role will partner closely with onshore engineering leaders and operational stakeholders to ensure business continuity, rapid issue resolution, and continuous improvement of fulfillment capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Build and lead a high-performing support and development team
in Hyderabad focused on Fulfillment & Logistics systems, driving both reliable
application support and new feature enhancements
to improve system performance.
Serve as the technical escalation point and hands-on leader
across incidents, severity management, and operational recovery, ensuring rapid resolution and guiding development of fixes for critical issues.
Drive improvements in incident tracking, severity categorization, playbook development, and data hygiene
, including creating processes and tools that incorporate necessary enhancements to prevent recurring problems.
Oversee support and enhancement coverage for critical nodes
(e.g., Stakehill [UK], Aberdeen [US automation site], and Demand Made [MTO platform]), ensuring robust operations and prioritizing development of fixes and new capabilities for these systems.
Establish strong practices around root-cause analysis and corrective actions
, collaborating with engineering teams to implement software fixes and feature enhancements that minimize incident recurrence.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering counterparts
in the US to prioritize both support and development backlogs, stabilize systems, and deliver roadmap outcomes including key new features and improvements.
Support a hybrid technical landscape
modern SaaS platforms (e.g., Manhattan), custom microservices, legacy systems, and third-party integrationsleveraging broad application development and support skillsets to drive system stability and evolution.
Drive hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and technical development of Hyderabad team members
, cultivating a team skilled in both application support and development to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications
14+ years of experience in software engineering or technical support roles, with at least 2+ years in engineering managementProven experience supporting complex
supply chain, fulfillment, or logistics systems
Strong hands-on technical background; experience with
Go, C#, Python, or similar back-end technologies
Familiarity with
WMS platforms (Manhattan preferred)
and custom-built fulfillment or automation systemsDemonstrated ability to manage
24x7 support
, incident triage, root cause analysis, and communication with senior stakeholdersExperience leading
globally distributed teams
in fast-paced environmentsExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and team-building skills
Nice to Have
