Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer for our bio gas plant based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our mechanical systems. Some of your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, planning, and supervising the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of various mechanical systems such as digesters, scrubbers, mixers, agitators, and compressors. - Operating and monitoring bio gas generation, purification, and bottling processes while troubleshooting any mechanical issues that may arise. - Ensuring the smooth functioning of piping networks, valves, gas flow meters, and safety systems within the plant. - Preparing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules (PM) for all mechanical equipment to uphold operational efficiency. - Monitoring the performance of gas engines, generators, and flaring systems to optimize operational efficiency. - Collaborating closely with electrical, civil, and instrumentation teams for integrated operations across the plant. - Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to bio gas operations. - Maintaining technical documentation, operation manuals, and maintenance logs for future reference. - Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance plant uptime and efficiency. - Assisting in the procurement and quality inspection of mechanical components and spare parts. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience: - B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in bio gas, waste-to-energy, or process plants. - Hands-on experience in handling pumps, mixers, compressors, digesters, and other process equipment. - Familiarity with bio gas purification and bottling systems would be an added advantage. In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications, the company also provides staying accommodation and travelling allowances for on-site work in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
