As a Mechanical Engineer for our bio gas plant based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our mechanical systems. Some of your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, planning, and supervising the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of various mechanical systems such as digesters, scrubbers, mixers, agitators, and compressors. - Operating and monitoring bio gas generation, purification, and bottling processes while troubleshooting any mechanical issues that may arise. - Ensuring the smooth functioning of piping networks, valves, gas flow meters, and safety systems within the plant. - Preparing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules (PM) for all mechanical equipment to uphold operational efficiency. - Monitoring the performance of gas engines, generators, and flaring systems to optimize operational efficiency. - Collaborating closely with electrical, civil, and instrumentation teams for integrated operations across the plant. - Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to bio gas operations. - Maintaining technical documentation, operation manuals, and maintenance logs for future reference. - Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance plant uptime and efficiency. - Assisting in the procurement and quality inspection of mechanical components and spare parts. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience: - B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in bio gas, waste-to-energy, or process plants. - Hands-on experience in handling pumps, mixers, compressors, digesters, and other process equipment. - Familiarity with bio gas purification and bottling systems would be an added advantage.
