Job Description

Purpose

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all civil engineering aspects of the greenfield chemical plant construction.
Prepare and review civil engineering designs, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
Monitor site progress, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and resolve technical issues.
Oversee foundation works, structural construction, RCC, industrial flooring, drainage, and utility corridors.
Ensure compliance with statutory norms, environmental guidelines, and project timelines.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor performance.
Prepare progress reports, MIS dashboards, and present updates to senior management.

Competencies:

Familiarity with EPC/EPCM project environment.
Experience in handling multi-disciplinary teams and large-scale civil packages.
Strong knowledge of industrial safety norms, construction codes, and project management tools.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and dynamic site conditions.
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualification:

Nature of Experience:

10 to 15 years experience in industrial construction (factories, power plants, refineries) and greenfield projects, in chemical industry.
