Sr Manager - Software & Application Development

As a Software Architect at Tata Communications, your main responsibility will be designing software architecture, driving automation, and enhancing operational efficiencies. This tactical role involves defining the direction of new solutions, processes, and standards based on business strategy or customer requirements, with a significant impact on overall business unit results. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understand new requirements and charters through analysis - Lead discussions with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to evaluate feasibility, technical specifications, and cost-benefit analysis - Define software roadmap to meet business needs, focusing on security and scalability - Create and deliver high-quality features, prepare end-to-end high-level and low-level designs, and develop individual subsystems - Drive deployment of software architecture, analyze test results, oversee go-live, and guide troubleshooting - Review and finalize implementation of design and architecture, including infrastructure and deployment requirements - Create internal user stories for development, testing, and deployment across multiple subsystems like OSS-BSS and IT Applications - Establish technology standards, cloud-native architecture, and SaaS-based model for applications development - Lead software quality assurance by reviewing process compliances, identifying pain points, and driving improvement initiatives - Facilitate creation and prioritization of program-level feature and architectural backlogs **Desired Skill Sets:** - Demonstrated experience in software solutions requirement analysis, creating roadmaps, design, software & platform architecture, cloud environment, and business concepts and processes - Hands-on experience in debugging complex issues - Extensive experience in software and application lifecycle management - Industry domain knowledge of key technology and industry trends - Experience in working with Agile methodology This role may involve leading a team of software developers.,
