Sr. Manager - Project & Pricing

Role Overview: As a Project Pricing Manager at PSA BDP, you will play a crucial role in overseeing PAN India project pricing and increasing the hit rate ratio for enquiries received. You will be responsible for day-to-day operational control, supporting all regional functions, internal stakeholders, and customers with competitive and effective solutions, as well as managing the project pricing and operations team. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee pricing for overseas movements including import, export, and third country movements - Handle daily updates on nomination business to overseas partners - Provide day-to-day customer service - Supervise complete operations of transport for time-bound delivery of export and import shipments - Ensure correct allocation of resources to meet delivery schedules - Interact with custom clearance, shipping line, transporters, and overseas agents - Negotiate freight and shipment planning with shipping lines, airlines, and break bulk carrier brokers - Create and maintain a recording and reporting system - Supervise import and export loads, as well as bulk cargo - Ensure compliance with export and import trade documentation, clearance, and reverse logistics - Oversee operations related to custom clearance, freight forwarding, and negotiations - Prepare MIS reports periodically and participate in inventory audits - Handle hazardous cargo and provide sales support to win business - Manage pricing for air freight, break bulk, sea freight, and domestic transport - Handle cross-trade operations for third-country shipments by sea and air Qualifications Required: - Minimum 12-15 years of industry experience - Exposure to operations in project cargo and sound knowledge to explain strategies/solutions for project cargo - Graduate/Postgraduate from a reputed university - Specialized logistics courses will be an added advantage Additional Company Details (if present in JD): PSA BDP, a member of the PSA Group, is a leading provider of globally integrated and port-centric supply chain, transportation, and logistics solutions.
