As a GPS Senior Manager at BMS Hyderabad, your role is to lead a team of Data Scientists focused on supporting Demand Forecasting and ensuring products/solutions serve the most pressing GPS analytics needs. You will drive transformation by achieving a balance of business transformation and operations. Your responsibilities include: - Leading recruitment, onboarding, and management of a high-performing, motivated team of data scientists - Implementing and managing an agile work process for the team - Contributing technically to the development and scaling of analytics solutions - Identifying opportunities to enhance analytics capabilities - Making recommendations to GPS Analytics LT on new technologies - Developing and maintaining a framework for measuring the value of work output - Establishing close collaboration with BMS IT teams - Collaborating with USA and Europe based GPS Analytics Team members Your skills and competencies should include strong technical and project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven leadership and management abilities, analytical mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement. You should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an analytical, engineering, operations research, or scientific discipline with at least 10 years of experience, including 7+ years in a data and analytics role. Experience in demand forecasting or supply chain analytics, biopharma product development, manufacturing operations, or quality controls is a significant plus. Experience managing/leading teams and working with large datasets, data visualization tools, statistical software packages, and platforms is required.
