As a Manager Current Quality at Tata Motors, your role involves executing sustenance activities at EV suppliers. Your key responsibilities include: - Conducting supplier Process audits - Closing OFIs - Identifying and implementing Poke-yoke - Analyzing Warranty returns - Supporting supplier Training and upgradation activities - Horizontal deployment of learnings - Managing data for respective suppliers for process audits, Warranty, PPM, and timely closure of PRR To excel in this role, you should have: - Education: BE/B Tech - Skills/Competencies: - Customer Centricity - Analytical ability - Systematic problem-solving - Quality Engineering and Statistics - Understanding of manufacturing processes - Teamwork - Learning ability - Relevant Experience: 1-5 years in auto manufacturing industry, with 1-2 years in EV or Automobile electronics Quality/Supplier Quality function - Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, IATF 16949, Core tools like PPAP, SPC, FMEA, and automotive components Key Responsibilities: 1. Improvement and Sustenance of performance for supplier parts (in-house) - Execution of Supplier process audits - PPM, CPA demerits - Supplier audit OFIs closure 2. Improvement and Sustenance of performance for supplier parts (Warranty) - Implementation of Product quality improvement using Management tools - Action implementation of JDP IQS Survey for supplier parts - Continuous updating Lessons Learnt Library rule book - Re PPAP of current parts - Warranty Performance actions implemented - Implementation of LLL for critical aggregates - Re PPAP 3. Supplier Engagement - Support for Training and capability enhancement of supplier representatives - Implementation of improvement initiative of supplier kaizen through BIQ - Implementation of DOL status for identified suppliers - PPM improvement initiatives with suppliers - Training plan and execution - No of suppliers with DOL status - PPM improvement Your success in this role will be driven by your ability to demonstrate Tata Motors Leadership Competencies such as Customer Centricity, Developing Self and Others, Driving Execution, Leading by Example, Leading Change, and Motivating Self and Others.
