As a Vehicle NVH Simulation Lead at our company, your role is critical in ensuring the efficient design and development of vehicle subsystems. Your responsibilities will directly impact the digital validation capabilities and timely delivery of project milestones. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of design and development activities. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and manage NVH digital validation activities, including resource allocation and quality assurance. - Provide technical mentoring in NVH digital validation for vehicle development programs. - Collaborate with design COC to mitigate risks and optimize design through simulation techniques. - Support investigations on performance issues identified during physical validation by offering insights into the underlying physics. - Conduct simulation activities to evaluate various design concepts for comparative studies. Technology Roadmap/Methodologies & Process Development: - Contribute to technology roadmap by identifying department needs and maximizing tool benefits. - Drive method and process development in alignment with the roadmap. - Execute pilot projects to showcase method capabilities and benefits. - Implement process automations to operationalize new capabilities. People Management: - Mentor and coach project teams. - Collaborate with NVH Test, NVH PAT, CE, COC ODC departments. Qualifications: - Master of Engineering in Mechanical. - 3+ years of experience in automotive vehicle subsystem and system evaluation and optimization for NVH using digital simulation and experimental techniques. - Proficiency in FEM, BEM, SEA, MBD, and other simulation tools such as NASTRAN, Hyperwork, AVL Excite, etc. - Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, material science, and product development processes. - Expertise in vehicle NVH domain including theory, objective & subjective assessment, experimental data analysis, root cause analysis. - Familiarity with TML product development process and milestones.
