The position of leading a Vehicle Platform or Variant for Vehicle NVH Simulation is critical in the overall product development process. Your responsibilities include planning and managing NVH digital validation activities, ensuring the quality of deliverables, and tracking project milestones within the specified timeframe. Additionally, you will be required to provide technical mentoring for NVH digital validation activities, work on feasible design solutions, and support investigations related to performance lapses during physical validation. You will also be responsible for supporting the technology roadmap, identifying departmental needs, and driving method and process development accordingly. People management is a key aspect of this role, involving mentoring and coaching project teams and liaising with various departments such as NVH Test, NVH PAT, CE, COC ODC. To excel in this position, you are required to have a Master of Engineering in Mechanical and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automotive Vehicle subsystem and system evaluation for NVH assessment through digital simulation techniques and experimental methods. Proficiency in FEM, BEM, SEA, MBD, and other simulation tools is essential, along with a solid understanding of material science, vehicle packaging, and product development processes. Your knowledge of vehicle NVH domain, vehicle subsystems, and systems will be crucial for this role, as well as familiarity with TML product development processes.
