Sr. Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Technician for injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, your role will involve performing preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues in machines such as the toggle/clamp system, barrel/heater bands, and robotics. Your primary goal will be to minimize downtime and maximize machine availability. Additionally, you will maintain documentation of machine history, spares inventory, and maintenance logs. Collaboration with production and quality teams is essential for effective maintenance planning. You must ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and TPM/5S practices while identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to enhance equipment performance and energy efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. - Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues in machines. - Maintain documentation of machine history, spares inventory, and maintenance logs. - Coordinate with production and quality teams for maintenance planning. - Ensure adherence to safety and TPM/5S practices. - Identify and implement continuous improvement in equipment performance and energy efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering - Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in plastic injection molding maintenance In this role, you should possess knowledge of injection molding machines such as Arburg, Haitian, and Toshiba. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and basic electrical systems is crucial. Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, along with proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques, will be beneficial for success.
