Sr Lead SME - Observability

You will be responsible for decomposing business processes into observability requirements and developing dashboards for critical business processes utilizing Dynatrace dashboards and/or Dynatrace Business Events on SaaS. Your role will involve defining and implementing the observability strategy and roadmap in alignment with the business objectives and IT architecture vision. You will design and develop observability solutions following industry best practices and standards. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership and guidance to the performance monitoring engineers to ensure the quality and consistency of observability solutions while being hands-on and accountable for delivery. Collaboration with business partners and IT stakeholders, including application owners, developers, operations, security, and governance teams, will be essential. You will need to understand their observability needs and requirements and offer appropriate solutions and tools. Evaluating and recommending new observability technologies and tools, as well as conducting proof of concepts and pilots to assess their feasibility and value, will also be part of your responsibilities. Establishing and enforcing observability standards, policies, and best practices across the enterprise to ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements is crucial. Providing observability training, coaching, and mentoring to IT staff and promoting the observability culture and mindset throughout the organization will also be key. You will analyze and report on observability metrics and KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization. **Required Skills:** - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Dynatrace observability at the Engineering/Architect level. - Deep expertise and hands-on experience in observability and monitoring technologies and tools, such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and SolarWinds. - 3+ years of experience leveraging Dynatrace SaaS, DQL, and Logs on Grail. - Expertise in developing monitoring dashboards. - Experience in developing Dynatrace dashboards for business processes, preferably leveraging Dynatrace Business Events. - Experience in designing and implementing observability solutions for complex, distributed systems and applications. - Strong automation/scripting skills. - Expertise in enterprise architecture and familiarity with key design patterns and paradigms. - Experience working with DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in developing and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, and procedures. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.,
