Job Description

Data Warehouse Management

Maintain and optimize schemas in Oracle and Google BigQuery.
Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled procedures and ETL processes.
Perform validations and audits to ensure data accuracy and governance.
Transition Oracle schemas to GCP with performance and reliability in mind.
Create and maintain data dictionaries and warehouse documentation.
Source and integrate new data as needed.
Define and document data definitions, business rules, and quality standards.
Manage code repositories using Git.

Reporting Automation

Develop and maintain Python scripts for automated reporting, ETL, and process automation.
Design and manage complex reporting views, tables, and procedures.
Deliver ad hoc reports and analyses to support business decision-making and hypothesis testing.

Project Sprint Management

Use Azure DevOps (ADO) for intake management, sprint planning, and task tracking.

Job Experience

10 16 years
of experience in database engineering, data architecture, or business intelligence roles.
Proven track record in designing and maintaining enterprise-level data warehouses.
Hands-on experience with Oracle DBMS and Google BigQuery in production environments.
Experience leading data migration projects, especially transitioning from legacy systems to cloud platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.
Experience in telecom or similar data-intensive industries is a plus.

Technical Skills

bachelors degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Advanced Oracle database development (stored procedures, nested queries, ETL, schema maintenance).
Intermediate to advanced Python development for automation, ETL, and API integration.
Advanced GCP data architecture and cost-optimized query design.
Experience with Informatica Cloud.
Strong background in data governance, integrity, and quality control.
Skilled in handling and summarizing large datasets.
