We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer with strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices to join our agile development team. You'll work with one of our direct clientsa leading global financial services companybuilding innovative, transformational software that impacts millions of users worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality backend features in an agile team environment
• Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
• Build applications leveraging client's in-house frameworks and modern technologies
• Collaborate with product owners to understand business needs and refine user stories
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and process innovation initiatives
• Optimize code for performance, accessibility, and high availability
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability
• Investigate and resolve production issues with support from SRE teams
• Innovate by implementing new technologies to improve applications and processes

What You Bring

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot & Microservices development
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns
• Proven experience building RESTful web services with Spring Boot
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (Hibernate/JPA)
• Hands-on experience with Git version control
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Good to Have:

• Experience in financial services or banking domain
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Docker and Kubernetes experience
• Understanding of microservices design patterns
