Sr. Java Developer

At HCL Software, the team is engaged in the development, marketing, sales, and support of over 20 Product families spanning various domains like Customer Experience, Digital Solutions, Secure DevOps, Security, and Automation. The current job opening is for a Sr. Java Developer specializing in Core Java and Microservices to join the Workload Automation Product team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience and possess the following skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or demonstrate exceptional skills in related areas with practical software engineering experience. - Proficiency in Core Java, Microservices architecture, and REST API development. - Hands-on experience with Quarkus and/or Spring Boot. - Ability to write high-quality unit tests using JUnit to ensure code reliability. - Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DocumentDB). - Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration. - Experience leveraging cloud services from providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Knowledge of Kafka for messaging and event streaming. - Bonus points for contributing to projects using Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies. - Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
