As a Sr. Java Developer at GlobalLogic, you will be a key player in shaping ambitious engineering initiatives. Your expertise in Java development, system composition, and cloud technologies will be crucial in delivering exceptional solutions. You will work in a collaborative environment where your efforts contribute to outstanding execution and innovation in enterprise systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work closely with Managers (Technical and Product) to define and plan projects and activities. - Develop and implement an architecture strategy. - Facilitate team collaboration towards software engineering best practices and solutions that meet customer needs. - Ensure high-quality code is produced and maintained through code review and frequent defect prevention activity. - Collaborate closely in small teams to create well-integrated products in short design cycles with good documentation and reusable artifacts. - Utilize Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience. - Strong proficiency in Core JAVA and Design Principles. - Expertise in J2EE with Spring, JPA, and Hibernate. - Proficiency in Spring Boot with RESTful Webservices and Microservices. - Hands-on experience with RDBMS/MySQL databases. - Proficient in documenting the process and code using standard tools like POSTMAN, Swagger, etc. - Proficiency with Azure services. - Basic understanding of Caching (Redis) and Search/Index Platform (Elastic Search). **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 6-8 years of software development experience. - Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience. - Strong in Core JAVA and Design Principles. - Very strong in J2EE with Spring, JPA, and Hibernate. - Very strong in Spring Boot with RESTful Webservices and Microservices. - Working experience on RDBMS/MySQL databases. - Proficient in documenting the process and code using standard tools like POSTMAN, Swagger, etc. - Proficient with Azure services. - Basic understanding of Caching (Redis) and Search/Index Platform (Elastic Search).
