As a Sr. Inventory Planner (P3) based in Bengaluru, India, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating global inventory settings and levels in alignment with defined strategies. Your responsibilities will include interacting with operational leaders and stakeholders to ensure supply continuity while effectively managing inventory costs on a global scale. You will be responsible for executing pre-defined planning strategies for specific product categories and serving as a subject matter expert on inventory optimization systems and planning tools. In this role, you will closely collaborate with the global inventory planning team, warehousing/distribution, and regional buyers/planners to manage inventory in respective product categories and sites. Your key responsibilities will involve executing inventory planning activities to meet service level agreements and operational needs, coordinating with regional teams to align on inventory targets, analyzing data for inventory optimization opportunities, and ensuring compliance with SOX regulations through monthly and quarterly controls. Furthermore, you will be responsible for generating reports on inventory performance metrics, utilizing SAP IBP Inventory Optimization solution for managing segmentation and generating reports, running and monitoring process templates in SAP IBP, and providing input for system design enhancements and upgrades. Your role will also involve participating in various improvement projects as needed. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain management, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in supply planning, forecasting, and/or inventory management across multiple product lines. Direct experience with supply and demand processes, strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel, experience with ERP and MRP systems (preferably SAP), and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a global, matrixed organization are essential. Possession of APICS CPIM, CSCP, or other relevant professional certifications would be advantageous.
