Act as Solution Manager for all assigned large medium strategic ITO dealsOverall owner of end to end technical solution lifecycle end to end solution development, overall effort estimation, solution articulation defense, development of business caseResponsible for Managed Services solution across Infrastructure and cloud services.Strong Technical knowledge around DWP, Hybrid Cloud, Cross Functional Services, Tools and Processes, Public Cloud solutions. Should be able to create, articulate and defend solutionsLeverage Transformation and Best in Class frameworks in developing a solution approach to meet client business objectivesLeverage Cognizant capabilities, IPs and Alliances as appropriate in the overall solution modelArticulate and defend solution components in internal and external forums including client presentationsLead Due Diligence activitiesContribute to RFP response build creation, ensuring end to end story boarding of technical solution, providing multiple solution options as per client context business driversExcellent, in depth understanding of overall IT Infrastructure across technology and service towersAccountable for end to end IT Infrastructure solution, working closely with Enterprise Architects and Design SMEs to build solution constructKnowledge of technical tasks and activities constituting the deliverables, structuring them logically planning, risk identification and mitigation, dependency analysis etc.Present high level ROI and TCO figures to client senior management during presentation and discussionsStrong Bid management and Pursuit Management

2.1
Business & Client Perspective
- Act as Solution Manager for all assigned large medium strategic ITO deals
- Work with internal (Pursuit Group, Solutions Group, Commercials & Contracts Group, Transition & Transformation Group, SI & Managed Contract Services Group) & external (CIS - SBU, Enabler, Foundation, Vertical Account, Horizontal, Corporate) teams for account penetration strategies by driving solution identification & development of selling strategies
- Provide leadership & strategic guidance during the solution development process to ensure bridging of gap between business problem faced by client & benefits available from company solutions & services
- Work with client, internal & external teams to understand client requirements
- Participate & lead Due Diligence exercises (where applicable) with clients
- Drive & own solution discussions with internal & external teams - deal reviews, solution workshops & solution reviews
- Deliver solution presentation to clients - clarification workshops, solution workshops & solution presentations
- Drive & participate in solution discussions with partners (where applicable) - capability, technical solution & pricing
- Coordinate with Pursuit Lead, Solution Director, Enterprise Architect & Design SMEs towards conceptualizing an integrated, end to end solution
- Collaborate with Bid Lead, Business Analyst in response development & perform overall quality control of client deliverables
- Support Product Management & Marketing Teams in developing productized solutions offerings & collaterals (where applicable)

Project & Process Perspective
- Adhere to the defined business development processes
- Contribute to key initiatives in the practice which include creation of reusable artifacts like technical papers, capability documents, case studies, & other collaterals
- Update knowledge repository regularly & ensure technical artifacts are up to date
- Discuss & provide inputs to Pursuit Lead, Solution Director, Enterprise Architect, Design SMEs, Bid Leads, Business Analysts, Financial Analysts towards conceptualizing & building Win Themes, SWOT, Win Loss analysis etc.

Degree of Independence Supervision Required
- Work under the guidance of Pursuit Lead Solution Directors to build a compelling, competitive & best-in-class technology solution
- Work under the guidance of Enterprise Architect to develop design related documents
- Mentor Business Analysts in estimating resource effort for pure Managed Services (RIM) opportunities leveraging standard tools & estimators

Qualification & Eligibility
- Engineering graduate with MBA degree (preferred)
- Technically proficient in IT Infrastructure Services with 10+ years of experience in the same
- Prior experience in leading large and medium strategic deals
- Excellent verbal & written communication & presentation skills
- Adept with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project etc.)
