About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR/CDC) Specialist with 7-10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise data replication and related technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring IBM CDC environments to ensure optimal performance, data consistency, and availability across critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (CDC) in enterprise environments.
• Create, configure, and manage CDC instances and subscriptions to support business data flows.
• Monitor replication processes to ensure high availability, consistency, and performance.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and environment maintenance for CDC software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve replication, connectivity, and performance issues in a timely manner.
• Implement proactive monitoring, automation, and best practices for replication environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DBAs, application teams, infrastructure, and DevOps) for smooth operations and project delivery.

Core Skills:

• Strong expertise in IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (CDC) installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in monitoring and managing replication processes for mission-critical systems.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning and optimization in CDC environments.
• Ability to handle production issues with minimal downtime.
• IBM CDC Certification will be an added advantage.

Extended Skills:

• Knowledge of Apache NiFi and Apache Kafka build and administration.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, Remedy).
• Exposure to DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible for automation and CI/CD integration.
