Job Summary:

Power BI Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end

  Power BI Architecture

  including data ingestion, modeling, visualization, and governance.
• Lead implementation of

  dimensional data models

  to support enterprise reporting and analytics needs.
• Develop and optimize

  Power BI reports and dashboards

  using DAX, M Language (Power Query), and advanced visualizations.
• Architect and manage the

  Power BI Service

  environment including workspaces, datasets, dataflows, gateways, and security.
• Define and implement

  Power BI SDLC processes

  including versioning, deployment pipelines, and documentation.
• Manage

  Power BI/Fabric administration

  tasks, including tenant settings, capacity management, and usage monitoring.
• Ensure best practices in

  report performance tuning

  ,

  data refresh optimization

  , and

  data security

  .
• Collaborate with Azure teams to integrate Power BI solutions with

  Microsoft Azure services

  (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, etc.).
• Implement

  Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)

  role-based access controls and security for BI content.
• Provide thought leadership and mentorship to BI developers and analysts.
• Stay current on Microsofts data and analytics roadmap and assess applicability to ongoing projects.

• Strong experience with

  Power BI Desktop

• Expertise in

• Proven experience with

  dimensional modeling

  data warehousing

  concepts.
• Proficient in

  ETL processes

• Demonstrated success in leading

  enterprise BI implementations

• Solid understanding and experience with

  Power BI governance

• Experience with

  Microsoft Azure platform
