Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for all electronic-related issues/concerns as regards to design & development, integration, quality, reliability, and compliance issues.

2. Responsible for creating detailed designs from the concept/s, to ensure robustness of the respective system by meeting component level and system level design validation requirements.

3. Responsible for coordinating within other stake holders and vendors for arranging the Components, PCBs (Bare and assembled), etc.

4. Responsible for completing Certifications of the products & Addressing Technical and Nontechnical requirements.

5. Responsible for generating and maintaining electronics design documents (Concept/Block diagrams, Power Budgeting, Schematics, Gerber, BOM, Test plans, Verification and Validation reports.

6. Ensuring that the product development cycle is followed through all the critical steps by continuous monitoring and control.

7. Supporting the Team in developing and testing the prototype to achieve the functional and performance requirements.

8. Ensuring swift response for closure of critical complaints, obsolesce requirements, address queries and improvements raised during the manufacturing process.

9. Identifying and achieving the potential cost saving areas of electronic systems without compromising functionality and reliability.

10. Creating value enhancement opportunities for existing and new products by virtue of conceptualizing and developing new features.

11. Maintaining existing hardware systems, providing support and executing changes.

12. Team-up with SW team on Hardware bring up and development.

13. Work with other functional teams to find root-causes and solutions.

14. Work with operations team on manufacturing developed designs and give support for existing developed designs.

Experience:

1. In-depth knowledge in Component Engineering, Hardware simulators (LTSpice, PSPICE)

2. Experience in Hardware Design & Development in Automotive/Industrial domain.

3. Experience in Power electronics, Switching Mode Power Supply, Analog, Digital and BLDC Motor control drive.

4. Experience in High-speed board bring-up design.

5. Experience in participating product compliance tests/certifications such as ISO26262, CE, EMI/EMC

* In addition to the above, you may be given additional responsibilities as per business requirement and your role can be altered at the discretion of your superiors.

Requirement profile:

Experience in a design role with exposure to production methodology.
