Sr. GIS Developer

As a Sr. GIS Developer at this company, your role will involve working closely with the Project Manager to define needs and customize existing technology to meet those needs. You will be responsible for GIS product development and designing software modules/forms in a software development environment like the .Net environment, JavaScript, ESRI ArcGIS Web ADF, ArcGIS JavaScript, etc. Your key responsibilities will include: - Writing codes in various software programming/scripting languages such as C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB.NET, .NET Framework 2.0/3.0/3.5/4.0/4.5, ESRI Arc GIS SDK for .Net, ESRI Arc GIS JavaScript API, ASP. Net MVC Framework 3/4/5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, XML, XSLT, AJAX, XSL, XSD, XPATH, WSDL, UML, HTML, LINQ, Web API, and Telerik controls - Developing reports using Reporting tools like SSRS, Crystal reports, I-Zenda Ad-hoc - GIS development using various open source GIS platforms and Google Map API - Creating build packages & deploy releases - Performing R&D related to Development work - Working in a team of software developers - Reporting to the Project Manager - Having good organizational skills - Demonstrating good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Qualifications required for this position include: - B.E./B.Tech, M.Sc., MCA, MCS/M.Tech preferably in Computer Science, GIS, Geoinformatics - 6 to 7 years of experience in developing websites, custom web mapping applications using .Net, ESRI Arc GIS, Arc Objects, Arc GIS Server-side programming, ArcGIS JavaScript API - Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including ASP.NET, ADO.NET Languages: C#, VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, VBScript, HTML, XML, Open source as well as Google Map API - Experience in web mapping application development using AGOL (ArcGIS Online) Web app builder and custom web app templates & custom widgets, ArcGIS Silverlight API, Javascript API - Experience in SQL Server 2005/2008/2012, ORACLE 11g,12C including schema design and writing complex SQL, stored procedures, and views etc. - Experience in working with ArcSDE geo database platform - Experience in developing websites using Teleriks R.A.D.
