Sr Frontend Developer

As a Senior WordPress & Front-End Developer at Webboombaa.org, you will play a crucial role in bringing designs to life across various web platforms like WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, etc. You will be responsible for creating user-first interfaces, seamless e-commerce experiences, and high-performing websites for both internal and client brands. Key Responsibilities: - Develop websites and user interfaces by converting UI/UX designs into responsive, fast-loading, and user-friendly websites - Create custom themes, templates, and layouts on platforms such as WordPress, Shopify & WooCommerce - Ensure clean, scalable, and reusable code maintenance across different platforms - Identify and troubleshoot cross-browser and device compatibility issues - Utilize front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and PHP for website development - Implement frameworks like React (optional) for enhancing user experience - Optimize website performance, SEO, and page speed using the latest practices - Specialize in e-commerce development by building and customizing Shopify & WooCommerce stores - Implement tracking pixels, UTM, conversion events, and API integrations for enhanced functionality - Perform regular website maintenance, plugin/theme updates, backups, and work on continuous performance improvements - Collaborate with backend & UI teams for enhancing website performance and user experience - Maintain documentation, testing protocols, and Git version control for seamless project management - Coordinate with designers, project managers, and content teams for successful project delivery - Contribute to scoping, planning, and delivery timelines while guiding and mentoring junior developers if needed Qualifications Required: - 3-7 years of experience in front-end & CMS development - Expertise in WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify - Proficient in HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, Bootstrap, PHP - Good understanding of website optimization, SEO, and UI responsiveness - Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and manage performance Good to Have: - Experience with Webflow, Magento, or Laravel - Familiarity with Git, cPanel, Figma, Google Analytics - Basic knowledge of server environments & hosting - Comfortable working in a startup agency setup If you are ready to code with creativity and contribute to building stunning web experiences, please send your resume + portfolio to hr@webboombaa.org.
