Role Overview: As a Senior Fashion Designer at Ragnik Exports Pvt. Ltd in Gurgaon, you will play a crucial role in leading the design team to create innovative collections while maintaining the brand's aesthetic and market relevance. Your responsibility will include developing seasonal collections, conducting market research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior designers as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Develop seasonal collections aligning with brand vision, market trends, and consumer demand. - Create original designs, mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. - Conduct market research, trend forecasting, and fabric sourcing for design inspiration. - Lead product development from concept to final production ensuring design accuracy and quality. - Collaborate with pattern makers, merchandisers, and production teams for seamless workflow. - Review samples, provide feedback, and make necessary adjustments to meet design standards. - Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technology for a competitive edge. - Mentor and guide junior designers and interns for their growth and development. Qualification Required: - Educational Background: Postgraduate Degree, Graduate Degree, or Diploma in Fashion Designing from NIFT is mandatory. - Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in a senior or lead role. - Software Skills: Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is essential. - Other Skills: Excellent sense of style, color, and fashion aesthetics, strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and production techniques, excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
