Sr. Executive - Industrial Engineering- Mumbai Govandi East

Job Purpose :

To drive productivity, process efficiency, and operational excellence across manufacturing line. The role

focuses on data acquisition and analysis, line balancing, automation, process standardization, waste

reduction, and data-driven decision-making to support scalable operations.

Key Responsibilities -

Technical Responsibilities:

• Support cycle time calculations and line balancing across all production stages.
• Study and map existing cake and pastry processes to identify bottlenecks and areas of improvement. Propose and implement semi-automation solutions to reduce manual effort and increase consistency.
• Review present manufacturing processes and update / create Standard Operating Procedures.
• Conduct regular 5S audits and drive visual workplace improvements.
• Support data acquisition of various stages of production.
• Maintain a data integrity framework by validating incoming data from operators and ensuring

accuracy through spot audits or automated alerts.

• Support for designing data visualization systems for Plant major KPI.
• Contribute to Automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives, including sensor-based monitoring and

digital tracking.

• Hands on in compliance with ISO, FSSAI, food safety & hygiene standards.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing.
• Familiarity with food industry standards and ISO standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point. Knowledge of Power BI will be added advantage.
• Ability to thrive in a high-speed FMCG / food production environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma with 4-5 years of experience or Bachelors Degree with 2-3 years of experience.
• Filed: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields.
• Prior experience in the food processing or bakery industry will be an advantage.
