Educational & Industry Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Rubber Technology, Polymer Technology, or related field (e.g., BBA, MBA, B.Sc. Rubber/Polymer).
  
• Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in the rubber, silicone, polymer, or related industry

Key Responsibilities-

• Identify, approach, and develop new clients especially OEMs, Tier1/2 vendors in automotive, industrial machinery, construction, pharma, etc. .
  
• Manage customer relationships: regular visits, follow-ups, technical discussions, demos, samples, trial coordination, and feedback collection .
  
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, obtain internal price approvals, and convert leads to orders

• Forecast demand, coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries
  
• Conduct market mapping and competitive analysis to identify growth areas.
  
• Collaborate with marketing for product launches, promotions, and customer education.
  
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and grow market share in Tamil Nadu (with occasional travel across South India).

Required Skills & Traits

• Strong communication (English + Tamil)

• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  
• Good technical understanding of rubber products (e.g. silicone/polychloroprene/EPDM/NBR).
  
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/sales tools.
  
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and organized with good planning skills.

Experience & Compensation

• Experience: 2 - 4 years in technical sales or marketing in the rubber/plastics/industrial chemicals domain

• Compensation: 3 - 5LPA (Negotiable based on experience and performance).
