Sr. Engineer Reliability Electrical

As an Electrical Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and maximizing the reliability and availability of Electrical equipment, distribution system, Power Electronics equipment, and Power System at the site. Your role will involve implementing Continuous Improvement techniques, up-gradation projects, and advanced diagnostic and online condition monitoring techniques to enhance reliability. You will also standardize best practices specific to site electrical equipment and incorporate Group guidelines for reliability improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Carry out troubleshooting and provide support for major and critical failures/issues occurring at the site. - Participate in reliability and integrity studies as identified. - Analyze obsolescence and implement asset renewal plans at the site. - Review and maintain equipment protection schemes, protection relay settings, and relay coordination. - Prepare power system models through ETAP. - Maintain the electrical testing laboratory. - Participate in turnaround and shutdown activities. - Identify and implement energy conservation initiatives. - Support Technical Due Diligence for major activities, minor projects, plant expansions, and modifications. - Follow and enforce applicable HSEF procedures/practices and RIL Group Safety Standards, including Electrical Safety Regulations. - Participate in and review Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and the liquidation of RCA recommendations. - Support REAM functions with reliability standards and defect elimination. Qualifications Required: - BE/ME/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Full-time) Experience: - 3 to 10 years of experience as an Electrical Reliability Engineer in oil and gas, manufacturing industry, Polyester, Polymer, Petrochemical, or Refinery industry. Skills & Competencies: - Exposure in deploying best maintenance practices, energy conservation measures, project management, and strong troubleshooting capabilities. - Knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance, FMEA reliability tools. - Knowledge of Power system operation and maintenance. - Analytical thinking and managing ambiguity. - Knowledge of SAP PM/MM modules. - Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.,
